Placard Wizard

Rick Rice of Placard Wizard came to us as an operations manager and as a software developer with a unique passion.He knew there had to be a more effective process to produce accurate hazmat placards for trucks that haul hazardous materials.

In early 2002 he started developing an algorithm that would change the industry by creating a software application that meets the 49 CFR Part 172 compliance. The developed application opened up the door for anyone to use.

The tool Rick developed was good, but something more is needed to make it great. TJC collaborated with Rick to transform his algorithm into a portable C#.NET class library and a Java Bean compliant version. The software could now work on multiple platforms, including enterprise systems used by top-tier national and international transportation companies.
